Nuke
Import Camera Animation
To import the camera animation into Nuke, follow these simple steps:
-
Create a ReadGeo Node: In your Nuke node graph, create a new ReadGeo node.
-
Select the Alembic File: Choose the
.abc
file that you exported from Omniscient. The ReadGeo node will automatically generate a camera node.Alternatively, you can drag and drop the Alembic file directly into your node graph.
-
Adjust the Frame Rate: In the camera properties' "file" tab, the frame rate will default to 24fps. Ensure that this setting matches your video's frame rate.
To change the exported .abc
FPS in Omniscient, navigate to Settings → Projects → Exported .abc FPS.
If you adjust this setting, make sure the FPS of your camera matches this setting.
After changing the FPS, press the reload button to apply the new frame rate.
Import Geometry
Importing geometry follows a similar process.
You can either drag and drop the .obj file into Nuke or use a ReadGeo node to select the .obj file exported from the Omniscient app.
